Hi, I'm Flo Finch.
I'm an English author and content creator with proud Cornish roots, a lifelong football fan (you'll find more than one nod to Leeds United hidden throughout my book), and mum to my incredible son, Elisha, who reminds me every day why hope is worth holding onto.
Writing has always been my dream. Building a career from my stories once felt impossible, but today, because of you, that dream is becoming a reality.
I fell in love with dark romance because, for the first time, I felt seen. But I always wanted more. Too often trauma is romanticised, glossed over, or used simply to shock. That was never the story I wanted to tell.
I wanted to write survivors.
Real survivors.
The ones who laugh too loudly. The ones who barely speak. The ones who fight. The ones who freeze. The ones who trust too easily. The ones who trust no one.
One heroine may respond to trauma in a way that feels painfully familiar to you, whilst another may not. Then, in the next book, that could completely change. That's intentional. No two survivors react to trauma in the same way, and neither response is more valid than another. I wanted every survivor to have the chance to feel seen somewhere within this series.
More than anything, I hope my stories remind you that you are not alone.
There was a time when I wasn't living. I was surviving. I was a zombie, counting down the days until I finally died, convinced my story had already ended.
I never imagined I'd get to chase a dream like this.
Now, because of every reader who has taken a chance on me, I can feel that dream at my fingertips. For the first time in my life, I'm not just surviving.
I'm finally living.
